Training Courses

I am very interested in the subject of people moving into management. I'm not convinced that we prepare people sufficiently for this major transition. Many companies feel as if they can't afford to provide training for new managers or can't afford to release them for a few days. I actually understand this but would like to explore ways to make it affordable and accessable.
